I am delighted to have recorded my first podcast! – well not my own podcast but my first contribution to someone else’s brilliant podcast. I was invited to share my knowledge and experience of gardening as we experience hotter and drier summers here in the UK.

The apparently simple question was “can/should we move to using Mediterranean plants in UK gardens?” and the answer is definitely not simple. Yes we need plants to survive and thrive in summers with little rainfall BUT the changing climate is not giving us the mild and much drier winters that Mediterranean plants need.
